Wednesday, January 12, 2022 – Marci F. Hertz presented the latest installment of the Research Into Action series. Marci F. Hertz, Senior Health Scientist at the CDC’s National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD and TB Prevention, presented the findings of her recent article, “Adolescent Mental Health, COVID-19, and the Value of School-Community Partnerships” published in Injury Prevention in 2021. The presenter discussed the impact of COVID-19 on youth mental health and substance abuse, as well as how communities can leverage school-community partnerships to address these issues.
