Research Into Action Webinar: Youth Participatory Action Research: Youth as Agents of Change

Wednesday, September 29, 2021 –  Dr. Elizabeth Salerno Valdez presented the latest installment of the Research Into Action series. She discussed her recent article, “Youth Participatory Action Research for Youth Substance Use Prevention: A Systematic Review.” The article’s literature review findings focus on Youth Participatory Action Research (YPAR) studies as they relate to youth substance misuse prevention, awareness and solutions. Dr. Salerno Valdezl also discussed how coalitions can use youth participation as an agent of change to produce community-specific substance use data and prevention materials.
