Doug Rice is the Senior Manager, Training and Sales Operations for CADCA. In this role, he is responsible for customized trainings for adult, youth and evaluation services. Doug promotes CADCA’s industry leading trainings in a variety of substance use and misuse topics to coalitions and prevention professionals. These efforts give coalitions the ability to personally design effective trainings to meet their specific needs, such as, how to successfully implement the Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF), including community assessment, building coalition capacity, logic models, comprehensive strategies and coalition evaluation.
Doug maintains an open dialogue and information exchange with community substance misuse coalitions to address their changing needs and ensure CADCA’s products and services are relevant, impactful and uniquely focused to increase the effectiveness of community coalitions. Doug uses feedback from coalitions to guide enhancement of existing or development of new CADCA products and services.
Doug has over 25 years of sales and marketing experience in communications, public relations, advertising, brand management, consumer segmentation and vendor relations. In his spare time, he loves to relax by reading science fiction novels, working on DIY projects and restoring old cars. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Western Michigan University.
