CADCA is the leading substance misuse prevention organization, representing over 5,000 community-based coalitions across the United States and territories and more than 30 countries around the world who work to create safe, healthy, and drug-free communities.

Where We Work

CADCA has helped establish 305 coalitions in 28 countries on five continents since the inception of its International Programs in 2005. There are 11,349 international coalition members globally.

How We Work

CADCA works to reduce substance use and misuse through the establishment of multi-sector community prevention coalitions. CADCA utilizes an evidence-based strategic planning process that fosters coalition development in selected countries through the provision of training and technical assistance, equipping local communities with the necessary tools to create safe, healthy and drug-free communities.
