A Special Message from General Dean

To all CADCA coalitions and prevention professionals,

CADCA’s 19th Annual Mid-Year Training Institute is becoming a virtual event. This will not be just another virtual meeting or webinar. This will be everything you’re used to experiencing during our Mid-Year Training Institute and more. Participants will have opportunities to attend collaborative training sessions with leading experts in the prevention field, network with other attendees and partners from across the globe, receive CEUs and more.

CADCA has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic, and we feel this is the best option to give our valued prevention advocates the experience of a lifetime while protecting your health and safety. Although some states across the nation are re-opening, many state and local guidelines will make it prohibitive for our attendees to safely travel to and from Nashville this July. After careful consideration of this and several other factors, in consultation with the CADCA Board of Directors, Coalition Advisory Committee, federal and corporate partners, we have decided that this is the safest alternative.

As an added benefit, we have reduced the registration fee to allow those financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic the chance to participate in our event. Register today.

This is a unique time in our collective history. Your work to prevent substance use and misuse has now become more important than ever. To ensure that CADCA continues to support you and your communities, we ask you to be a part of this event. As your national leadership organization, rest assured we are with you in working together to create safe, healthy and drug-free communities and your support at this event will bolster our collective efforts to thrive and grow during this unprecedented time.

If you’ve already registered for the event, please contact events@cadca.org to confirm transfer details.

We look forward to seeing you (virtually) this July!

Sincerely,GDHeadshot100px_1023167.jpg
