This session, which is designed to address the unique needs and assets of DFC Coalitions in years 8, 9, and 10, will provide an opportunity to discuss why we plan and how to engage your coalition in the process. This session will provide an opportunity to learn, network, and share among participants.

Objectives:

1. Explore why planning is important for coalitions
2. Consider the planning step of the Strategic Prevention Framework
3. Identify the importance of key products including logic models, action and strategic plan
4. Explain the difference between a strategic plan and the DFC 12-month action plan
5. Discuss how to engage coalition members in the planning and implementation of strategies
