Marketing Associate

Position Description:  Marketing Associate 

Reports to:  Director, Communications and Marketing 

Overall Objective: The Marketing Associate will help to create and manage the tactical execution for all multi-channel web-related marketing activities of the organization. This includes front-end web site maintenance, web site analytics, web site testing, digital advertising, social and email marketing. This position requires the ability to work with multiple teams within an organization and take the lead on critical web-related assignments.    

Major Duties Include: 

  • Collaborates with senior management on all aspects of digital marketing 
  • Website implementation, enhancements and maintenance 
  • Recommending and implementing digital improvements 
  • Partners with other team members to ensure accurate content is on web site at all times 
  • Execute on various search engine optimization activities including improving page content, keyword relevancy, structure, tagging 
  • Involved in day to day search marketing activities such as campaign set up, keyword selection, analysis, recommendations, executions, budget monitoring 
  • Help in the execution of marketing activities 
  • Ability to develop creative content for wide range of digital media 
  • Monitor social media channels for customer and partner comments & feedback 
  • Manage specific social media accounts related to marketing 
  • Design, test & deliver bulk email messaging to subscriber base 
  • Implement drip marketing strategies to support and drive lead generation 
  • Administer lead generation templates for email marketing and landing pages 
  • Publish and manage web content as required 
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

Major Skills: 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to establish quick rapport with staff and members 
  • Ability to multi-task, troubleshoot issues and initiate projects to improve processes 
  • Team player, comfortable working in a collaborative environment 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and database systems 
  • Working knowledge of InDesign project management a plus 
  • Knowledge of CMS platforms and experience with CRM systems 
  • 3 years' experience in marketing and communications, public health background a plus 
  • Bachelor's degree required 

Category of position: Exempt Employee 

Normal duty hours: 8:30am-5:30pm*, Monday through Friday
