Jessica Bickford is the Coordinator of Healthy Lamoille Valley, a coalition serving the youth and adults in rural Lamoille Valley in Northern Vermont. She has been working to grow the coalition and deepen the work over the last 10 years. Healthy Lamoille Valley has been honored by Prevention Works VT and was recognized as a Blue Ribbon Coalition by CADCA in 2023.

Jessica is a lifelong learner with a BA in interdisciplinary studies (Recreation and Psychology) from Plymouth State University. Jessica is a graduate of the Boys and Girls Club’s Strom Thurman Leadership Program, the New England’s Advance Technology Transfer Center’s Leadership Development Program, CADCA’s National and Graduate Coalition Academies. Jessica is part of Vermont’s first cohort of Certified Prevention Specialist Certification receiving certification from the IC/RC in 2023.

Jessica has been supporting Vermont’s statewide prevention efforts since 2016. She serves as a longstanding member of Prevention Works VT’s Steering Team. Additionally, Jessica supports local efforts in her free time with volunteer service on several boards and committees. Jessica enjoys spending time with her family and faith community, creating pottery and other art, kayaking in Vermont’s beautiful lakes and ponds, and experiencing daily awe at the beauty that surrounds us.
