Your Outcomes Matter. Apply Now for CADCA’s 2015 GOT OUTCOMES! Coalition of Excellence Awards

Each year, CADCA offers coalitions the chance to receive national recognition for their contributions to community-level substance abuse outcomes. Sponsored by CADCA’s National Coalition Institute, the GOT OUTCOMES! Coalition of Excellence Awards celebrate coalitions that engage their community in a comprehensive community assessment and in-depth problem analysis process identifying local community conditions. These exemplary coalitions select a comprehensive set of tailored strategies and interventions to achieve real results.

The GOT OUTCOMES! application process provides coalitions with the opportunity to create a valuable tool for coalition sustainability.  As part of the process, coalitions are asked to develop a PowerPoint presentation educating community members and key stakeholders on their coalition’s contributions to community-level substance abuse outcomes.

The PowerPoint allows applicants to effectively communicate their coalition’s work and success in a succinct manner to potential funders and partners.  This product adds to a coalition’s toolbox by ensuring applicants have a method for spreading the word about their efforts and impacts.

2015 GOT OUTCOMES! award winners will receive national recognition as a model coalition at CADCA’s National Leadership Forum in February 2016, which includes free registration and travel. In addition, winners participate in a Forum training workshop to showcase their coalition’s successes and are featured in a variety of CADCA communications throughout the year.

Before beginning the application process, coalitions interested in applying are strongly encouraged to contact CADCA for guidance. Please call 1-800-54-CADCA, ext. 262 or send an e-mail to gotoutcomes@cadca.org. Additionally, CADCA will hold an online applicant workshop about the application process on May 7th from 3:00-4:30 p.m. EST. Coalitions must register in advance to participate in this session. For those unable to attend, the session will be recorded and made available.

Phase I applications are due to CADCA by 5 p.m. EST June 15. Applicants will be notified in early July on whether they have been selected to move to Phase II of the application process. To download the Phase I Application and learn more about GOT OUTCOMES!, visit the GOT OUTCOMES! web page
