National Drug and Alcohol Facts Week (NDAFW) will be held next week, Jan. 25-31 and is sponsored, for the first time, by both the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) and the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA), both part of the National Institutes of Health. The institutes often work together on research and prevention initiatives.
The week-long health observance provides opportunities for teenagers to ask scientists and experts questions they most want answered about drugs and alcohol.
- Kick off National Drug & Alcohol Facts Week by taking the 2016 National Drug & Alcohol IQ Challenge. Use hashtag #NDAFW.
- Tell NIDA and NIAAA why you SHATTER THE MYTHS on drugs & alcohol with the #NDAFW template.
- Promote and enhance your event with one of five new #NDAFW toolkits.
