6) MEDIA CAMPAIGN OFFERS COALITIONS TOOL TO OPEN DOORS TO LOCAL COMPANIES

The National Youth Anti-Drug Media Campaign is promoting its "@Work" program as an easy way for employers to help working parents keep their children away from drugs. Coalitions can take advantage of the opportunity to promote this free program to employers in their areas. Offering companies a program that will benefit their employees and help the community is a great way to build relationships in the business community. By introducing companies to the "@Work" program and helping them support their working parents, coalitions can identify other opportunities to engage local businesses in coalition prevention activities.

To make it as easy as possible to share youth drug prevention information with employees, the Campaign designed a website for employers and their human resource and employee assistance professionals, www.TheAntiDrug.com/Atwork.

7) FACES AND VOICES OF RECOVERY RECRUITMENT BROCHURE AVAILABLE

The Alliance Project of Minnesota has a localizable brochure available for coalitions to recruit and mobilize people in their areas to become more active in alcohol and drug addiction recovery movement. The Alliance Project will customize the brochures at a cost of 10 cents each. The deadline for orders is April 15; to place an order, contact Jen Hanson by mail at The Alliance Project, 1954 University Avenue, Suite 12, St. Paul, MN 55104, by phone at 651-645-1618, or by e-mail at jlanson@onvoymail.com.
