Membership Categories/Rates

Who can be a member?

Anyone can become a member who has interest in supporting local coalitions in the development of partnerships to make their communities safe, healthy and drug-free. Members include: parents, teachers, young people, law enforcement, health providers, the faith community, business and civic leaders, elected officials and concerned citizens.
If you are not already a member of a coalition, CADCA can help you get involved. If your community does not have a coalition, CADCA can help. CADCA’s National Coalition Institute can provide you with training in the core competencies of effective coalition building.
If you already are a member of an active coalition, CADCA can provide the support and expertise to keep the drug and underage drinking issues you care about as a priority on the Congressional agenda.

CADCA Membership Categories/Rates

Below are the CADCA membership categories and yearly dues rates. The CADCA membership year is based on your anniversary date. When you join, you will be sent a new member packet containing all recent publications, and will receive the publications on a regular basis for the remainder of your membership year.

Individual Members - $50/year

Individual Member Definition: An individual with an interest in supporting effective community coalitions and prevention programs; who shares CADCA’s mission to strengthen the capacity of community coalitions to create and maintain safe, healthy and drug-free communities.”

Organizational Members

Coalition/Community-Based Organizations - dues vary as follows:

$500,000 and above $500

Coalition Member Definition: An organization made up of local members of a community working together across a continuum of sectors to achieve population-level outcomes by addressing substance-use disorders and related local problems.

Special Interest Member - $500/year

Special Interest Member Definition: Any department or agency within a county or local government, prevention resource centers, treatment centers, or any other organization that supports CADCA’s mission, the work of community coalitions to reduce substance-use disorders and related problems, and other effective prevention efforts and programs.

Sustaining Member - $2500/year

Sustaining Member Definition: Any state-level or national-level organization that supports CADCA’s mission, the work of community coalitions to reduce substance-use disorders and related problems, and other effective prevention efforts and programs.
