Sustaining success through
organizational advocacy on behalf of statewide prevention communities
will be the mainstay of this seminar. It is designed to help coalitions
unite within their own states or regions to create environments
that support safe and healthy communities through prevention of
substance abuse and violence.

- Understand the components of successful statewide
coalition collaborations
- Identify “ready made partners” in their
own states/regions
- Develop a basic strategy for developing a statewide
advocacy group
