Description:

The speakers will present on Native Aspirations, a national project designed to address youth violence, bullying, and suicide prevention through evidence-based interventions and community efforts. Discussions will be held on how the Native American Technical Assistance Resources Center will provide comprehensive substance abuse prevention and related services to Native governments, organizations, and peoples. Discussions will be held regarding how the American Indian and Alaska Native communities determined to be the most “at risk” have been able to develop or enhance a community-based mental illness and substance abuse prevention plans.
