Description:

The presentation will provide attendees with numerous ideas related to engaging various sectors in substance abuse prevention efforts. The Troy Coalition has 16 years of experience in working closely with all sectors bringing the prevention message to targeted groups and to the community. Participants will learn about various projects that can be carried out with different sectors with emphasis on the benefits of collaboration. Discussion will take place on several projects and what is needed to implement them.

  • Understand the value of collaboration and learn creative ways to design collaborative projects with different sectors.
  • Learn new ideas on engaging and working with specific sectors
  • Understand “what it takes” to carry out selected sector projects.
