Knowing the high rates of over-the-counter and prescription drug abuse and the protective value of religion, The Salt Lake City Mayor’s Coalition on Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs has two innovative partnerships: providing pharmacies with inserts for prescription bags and holding substance abuse trainings for religious leaders.

• Materials to provide to pharmacies.
• How to reach out to area clergy.
• Developing curricula for Level I and Level II clergy trainings.
