How to Become a DFC Peer Reviewer

Description:

Each year more than 300 competitive applications for DFC funding are peer reviewed and scored by prevention professionals with community coalition experience. Beginning in FY08, individuals who complete a two-hour face-to-face training with DFC and SAMHSA staff will receive priority in becoming DFC Peer Reviewers. In this two-hour session, participants will walk through the FY08 Request for Applications and associated scoring sheets and will receive instruction on how to effectively review and score a DFC application.
