Description:

Coalitions that have outcomes are a reality. Learn what it takes to nominate your coalition for the annual CADCA GOT OUTCOMES! Coalition of the Year Award. The Got Outcomes! Awards are a National Coalition Institute-sponsored competition recognizing coalitions that have successfully impacted substance abuse outcomes in a measurable way through the implementation of a sound strategic plan/logic model. This coalition showcase will give you the opportunity to learn about the Got Outcomes! award process and hear from this year’s winners: Butte Youth Now (Chico, CA), Missoula Forum for Children and Youth (Missoula, MT), and Franklin County Communities That Care Coalition (Greenfield, MA).

In Part I of this workshop, coalitions that applied for Got Outcomes! will be highlighted in a poster presentation format. In an informal context, you may walk around the room and “visit” with a variety of this year’s Got Outcomes! applicants. Take this opportunity to talk to them directly about their experience going through the Got Outcomes! application process and network with them regarding valuable substance abuse prevention work in which they are engaged.
