Description:

This is an interactive, role-play simulation of a coalition just beginning. Experience what it's like to start or reenergize a community coalition. A real case study will be used and will include roles found in any community group. Come prepared to work hard, have fun and experience community mobilization in "real time."

Learning Objectives:

  • Gain a basic understanding of how groups form.
  • Understand how to work with all opinions and the advantage of engaging you're most resistant or critical participant.
  • Practice applying group facilitation skills to get the outcome desired.
