This workshop is a synthesis of the scientific literature on “what works” with coalitions.

Learning Objectives:

• Learn the state of the science on coalition effectiveness;
• Learn which characteristics of coalitions produce positive outcomes according to scientific studies;
• Learn from evaluation and research work the presenters have done in Wyoming;
• Emerge with a clear understanding of what structures, strategies and activities coalitions should pursue in order to achieve results.
