Day/Time:

10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Presenter:

Jack W. Claypoole, Administrator, DFC,

Description:

The DFC Reauthorization of 2001 allows for DFC coalitions who successfully complete their initial five years of funding to compete for a second five-year cycle. For the last two years, only 40 percent of the DFC Coalitions eligible for second-cycle (Years 6-10) funding have successfully competed for a grant. In this workshop, Federal DFC staff will outline the important issues for coalitions seeking second-cycle funding, and will provide participants guidance on how to strengthen their applications for Year Six competition.
