This workshop will teach
youth and adults how to use theater improvisation to promote prevention.
With exciting theater improv games, learn how to raise awareness
about important issues affecting youth, including substance abuse,
violence, media influences, and stress. The workshop is extremely
interactive, seeking to educate and inspire people to become leaders
for positive change!

Learning Objectives:
|
- Understand the five basic ingredients for good theater improvisation—imagination,
storytelling, agreement, assumptions and cooperation.
- Demonstrate at least five theater improv games that
can be used to raise awareness about teen issues and prevention
topics.
- Use theater as a FUN and EFFECTIVE tool for engaging
young people in efforts to promote prevention!
