CADCA AWARDED $2 MILLION GRANT FOR CREATION OF NATIONAL COMMUNITY ANTI-DRUG COALITION INSTITUTE

ALEXANDRIA, VA - The Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) today awarded Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA) a $2 million dollar grant to administer the newly formed National Community Anti-Drug Coalition Institute. The Institute will provide increased education, training, and technical assistance for coalition leaders and community teams. In addition, the Institute will allow coalitions to better evaluate their own performance and outcomes.

"This award demonstrates a major show of support from Congress and the federal government, and recognizes that CADCA provides first-rate training, research, and outreach to community anti-drug coalitions across America," CADCA Chairman and CEO General Arthur T. Dean said. "This grant will allow us to devote even more resources and attention to coalitions to assist them in meeting the individual needs of their communities."
