CADCA PRESENTS
NATIONAL AWARDS FOR
OUTSTANDING ANTI-DRUG EFFORTS
ALEXANDRIA, VA— Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA) today announced the recipients of its annual awards that recognize exemplary individuals working to prevent and reduce substance abuse in communities across the country. In addition, CADCA honored Hodding Carter, III, the President and CEO of the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation with its National Leadership Award. The awards were presented today at CADCA’s National Leadership Forum XIII Awards Luncheon at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C.
Here are this year’s recipients:
Noting that this year’s award recipients typified the renewed sense of duty and service to the community, CADCA Chairman and CEO General Arthur T. Dean said they “represent the spirit of America and are true role models in their respective communities.” Dean added, “I hope Americans will follow their lead and help to build safe, healthy and drug-free communities.”
